Description Game idea: A pixelated RWBY platform game that is still to this day in my mind. Whenever it comes to anime-type games, they are most often contain genre's of RPG, fighting, visual novel, or hack and slash. I wanted to make a game that makes it much more exciting in a way to make it feel enjoyable that you'd be wanting to replay it over and over. The gameplay of this RWBY game is in the same vein as the 2D Sonic games while also a bit different. You fight your way through enemies as your speeding across the levels jumping from platform to platform while making your team stronger.

Plot: The plot of this game idea has not been given yet.

Heroes: You can switch and play as Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long throughout the stages. Your attack, special, and semblance depends on which direction you input. You can switch from melee to range attacks depending on the character your playing. For range attacks (Ruby, Blake, and Yang), you have to reload once your out of ammo and it'll be limited, meaning if you don't have enough, you'll just have to stick with melee until you find an item containing ammo which I'll explain later. The aura is like your health bar in the game. If your aura has almost reach to the end by taking damage, your character will start to flash by their color. You'll still proceed to attack after all of your aura is depleted. However, you can't use your semblance and it'll take one hit to end your character's life causing the game to be over. The only way to prevent that is to switch with your different teammate. It'll automatically replenish, but it's a slow process. Using semblance can help you along the way. However, it can also cost your aura, so you better use your semblance sparingly.

Your other teammates will fight alongside you wherever you go. Depending on your taste, you'll have the option to go solo and still have the ability to switch the characters.

There are certain obstacles in each of the levels that can only be gained access by certain characters or having to fight multiple enemies which is where their specials and semblance come into play.

Special:

Ruby Rose - Ruby's special uses her weapon to projectile herself even in mid air slicing through enemies who are nearby depending which direction you input.

Weiss Schnee - Weiss's special allows her to counterattack enemies if done in a right timing. Inputting left or right will make her perform a thrusting attack.

Blake Belladonna - Blake's special is using her gambol shroud as a kusarigama-like weapon. Pressing the button grabs an enemy from a distance nearby and launches them depending which direction you input. Certain areas of the level will enable Blake to use her weapon as a grappling hook swinging to much harder areas, which that depends on how much momentum you've built.

Yang Xiao Long - Yang's special charges up her attack by rapidly pressing the button giving her a more powerful punch. Inputting left or right will make her charge against enemies, and inputting up will give her enemies a strong uppercut. Certain areas of the level would require Yang to break down thin-looking walls which could lead to hidden areas.

Semblance:

Ruby Rose - Petal Burst: Gives her a boost of speed causing her to crash through multiple enemies in the way (ineffective to tough enemies and some bosses), run up on walls, and enables her to temporary glide in mid-air.

Double tapping will cause ruby rose to attack through a trail of multiple enemies in a row (similar to Sonic's light speed dash).

Weiss Schnee - Glyphs: Launch projectiles in three different directions depending where you're facing. Holding down the button and inputting different directions will create a series of glyphs that will project you to much higher areas once you release it.

Blake Belladonna - Shadow: Enables her to create a clone of herself and launches her in any direction depending where you input. Holding down the button will allow her to clone herself and attack an enemy from a different area. Useful for a dodging incoming projectiles and perform a counterattack respectively.

Yang Xiao Long - Burn: Absorb attacks from her enemies. Activating it will enter her into "rage mode" and make her attacks more powerful. Very effective and useful against tough enemies and finishing a boss fight. However, unlike other teammates, her semblance can quickly deplete her aura more than normal.

Main antagonist: Roman Torchwick is put in mind serving as the main antagonist. But there are other villains that I might also have in mind as well.

Enemies: Enemies in the game are Creatures of Grimm, Junior's Henchmen, and the White Fang. Most of the enemies are easy to kill, others can attack you by surprise, and some of them take twice or more damage to take down. As you progress, they get tougher and tougher to a point it becomes difficult. Not unless you made some upgrades.

Leveling Up and Items: It'll also be important to level up and making some upgrades to your teammates. As you defeat enemies, you'll be earning XP points to the character your playing as. After you finish the stage, you can select and level-up their stats, such as their defense, attack, range, aura, and semblance. For example, reducing the damage you've taken or replenishing your aura much faster. New movesets to your attacks, specials, and semblance are unlockable once you've reach to it's certain level. Items in the game can be found in some parts of the stages. Items can help add up your ammo, fill your character's aura halfway or completely, or obtaining an extra life. For aura, it can be divided depending how low your teammates' are.

You can also use dust for your teammates' weaponry and can switch between different types with a press of a button while your playing. Dust can be obtained after clearing certain missions.

Hub World: Vale would be your starting point in the game. You'll start from Emerald Forest to Mountain Glenn and each of them may contain 5 or 6 levels including boss levels. Other kingdoms and landmasses might also be expanded upon the map depending on the story and mission.

Last what I wanted to say is depending how you clear your game, you'll either get the good or the bad ending.

(This is just my idea of my dream game. There might be changes or things I haven't mentioned that will later be put in this.)
