at first glance i thought that it would be some kind of photomanip or something like a collage, impressive. i like the colors you've chosen, plain and simple, lol.. hope those are textures used for the background, or did you do all the things as a vector? well done.

I was wanting to create something like this.. but this is way better than anything i could have created... ya.. The bottom circle does seem to be abit much for the rest.. it's more prominent than the tree itself.. All together though.. it's great. The subtle texturing touches are great. and yea.. it's all great 
i just noticed the circles in your avatar icon.. maybe that explains it.....

beautiful use of textures..the tree and the 2d to the left of it looks amazing.
id say lose the circles and the spline running over the tree..
they just dont seem to have anything to do with the piece..
either way solid work.
