Acrylic painting. 2020. This painting is based off of a drawing made in 2018. I wanted to portray the lies many young women (and I) used to believe on the girl's body and God lifting her up with His right hand. In this new painting, I showed the words falling off of her and into God's hand, being replaced with what He says we are. It signifies God's grace, saving us from the lies we believe about ourselves and replacing it with His truth.
