Description
I was commissioned by a friend of a friend to draw protogens, but I haven't had experience doing such. So instead of bashing my head against a wall trying to figure it out from scratch, I used my newfound knowledge of just watching drawing tutorials. I decided to go back again to YouTuber, Imaginatively Unimaginative, so I could learn how to draw protogens. Like with the anthropomorphic hyena study, I tried to not be as reliant the further along I went. Surprisingly, this one felt easier and took a lot less time with the sketching and linework. I'm not bothering with coloring as I don't need to build a design from the ground up. It could be that I might be accumulating good skills to become more efficient, or maybe protogens have more "objectness" to them which is something I'm a bit more accustomed to. I can now go in with much more assurance in creating art of this species.
