Description
Once again, this is not one of my fights, but another of the amazing Tournament of Mortals. This is a fight from Round 1, and features two truly evil, monstrous men.Alex Mercer: A killer, a monster, a terrorist... Alex Mercer is all of these things and worse. Infected with the Black Light Virus, Alex can alter his body in a variety of deadly ways or, more sinisterly, absorb those he defeats into himself. When he does, he gains all their knowledge and power, a skill that makes him a frighteningly deadly foe.
Alucard: The No-Life King, Alucard is no mere Vampire. Nay, he is the most powerful of all Vampires; and the strongest member of the Hellsing Organization. His powers are many and formidable, equaled only by his hunger. With each kill he makes, he adds another familiar to his army, and another set of memories and skills to his mind, continually adding to his power.
(Disclaimer: Just to be clear, these two combatants were created / are owned by people far more creative / wealthier then me. I have made this, not for profit, but in the hopes of encouraging spirited discussion among fans. Please support the combatants official series. Thank you, that is all).

The point was that neither Alex, nor Vlad can win in battle to the death. They simply don't have anything to insure "finish off" the other one. Alucard don't have means to destroy all infected cells and Alex can't guarantee that even if he destroys Vlad's body during 0 restriction it will count since he's far from being blessed.
+ Alucard can't use most potent of his abillities since Alex lacks soul and Mercer can't infect or consume Vlad.

No matter my opinions of the first two statements, I agree with the last. No one would win, but we would lose.

and that's how we started. And after that I've said that Integra needs someone like tactical advisor/field commander, authority over other UK forces and agencies of any kind, funding and political support from members of Round table. However the reason she hadn't got any of those is explained during Al's absense.

Hmm... both are know for the tremendous damage they can take, but ultimately Alucard's greatest asset: His familiars, works against him. Alex's ability to absorb organic matter to increase his strength will flourish with every familiar Alucard sends his way. Alex is ultimately much smarter then Alucard, and will have him absorbed before the fight's end.

well his familiars are made of shadow energy not flesh(if I remember correctly) so wouldn't that mean Alex couldn't absorb them?

It's hard to say, as that's never been something Mercer has encountered before. Also, I'm not certain shadow energy is the proper word. Certainly some flesh is involved, as the shambling hordes (not the ones with recognizable faces like Rip or Dandy) seem to be made of flesh when cut or shot. I think it may take a moment, but they look like they can be affected by the mundane world, so I think he SHOULD be able to absorb them.

I agree with this assessment, although I'm not sure if Alex would be able to keep Alucard contained within himself or if he would lose his mind to Alucard.

I feel that alex mercer should have went up against jackie estacado mostly because they can morph their body into anything they want

I don't think there's anyway that Alex could beat Alucard. Alex is a subject of science, while Alucard is more mythological. Science has its limits when fighting mythology. Plus, Alucard has much more combat experience, over 500 years of combat experience. Also, Alucard is far more intimidating. And once someone is a victum of Alucard's intimidation, the battle is over.

Alex can't be intimidated. he's not 'human' like we are he's effectively superhuman, and frankly, Alex has more Combat experience, he's consumed 10,000 years worth soldiers combat expertise, generals, spec-ops, and many more. and Alex has the entire worlds knowledge in his head pretty much, he's consumed so many he practically knows everything about anything, he could adapt in a moment in order to counter and destroy Alucard.

Alucard, hand's down. Not only is he the most powerful vampire in existence, but his powers are always evolving. If anything, Alex would be another addition to his collection of familiars. Not to mention since the Schordinger incident, Alucard has the ability to exist "everywhere and nowhere", all at the same time.

Tough one here. I'm gonna say Alex Mercer though, since with his body alteration into anything, he could make anything to keep Alucard at bay.
