Description
You know, this is actually a rather common battle people like to debate. I don't know why.This is a battle that takes place in the Tournament of Super-humans
Sora: Wielder of the Keyblade, Sora has traveled to many worlds, fighting back the darkness each time as he searches for his friends.
Link: Wielder of the Master Sword, Link is a hero through time, constantly saving his world from evil, and protecting princess Zelda.
Now these two heroes must face each other on the field of battle. Which blade will win the day? Keyblade or Master Sword? Who posses the more powerful magics? When these two are locked in a battle to the death, only you can decide...
WHO! IS! DEADLIEST!
(Disclaimer: Just to be clear, these two combatants were created / are owned by people far more creative / wealthier then me. I have made this, not for profit, but in the hopes of encouraging spirited discussion among fans. Please support the combatants official series. Thank you, that is all).

I can not deny that Sora get his ass saved alot. (Twice by Donald and Goofy, twice by axel, once by Riku, once by Lea, once by the King...)
But if Links other incarnations are not much better than the one I know (OoT) than Sora complet outmatches him.
Nyruls Love is good but it won t last forever. And Sora is realy dam good in keep distaces and avoding his enemies atacks untill they are not ivincebill enymore. OoT Links arows are easy to block ore if dodge fore Sora. reflega even keeps him save from the magical arows. Dins spell is super slow and Dark Link has proven that it can be aviod. The much Faster Firaga Spell (KH 2 version) is so much better. And Thundaga is so much faster. Even on distace Sora is better than OoT Link. And he can fast incrase ore decrase distace so keeping on distace is not work fore Link. The growth Abilitys are so awsome
In OoT nearly all his Super human feats come from his Items like the glide boots(such joke compare to Soras Glide level 3) ore his very impresive Gauntlets. Besides Sora can also use glide, high Jump, and magic with out his Keyblade, like shown in KH 1. But this doesnt even matter becuse Link can not seperate Sora from his Keyblade fore longer than a few seconds. (which is alot of time in a battle but still)
What matters where the strengh of a person come from ( in soras case the bonds to his friends which strength his hearth, which is the reason why the Keyblade Chose him) if the enemie has no option to take that away from him.
This normal boy has done so much amazing stuff. Slicing sky skyscrapers (the clasic) and fight enemies which let look Ganon like a complet joke. If Ganon would not be imortal execpt to the master sword even Micky would kick his but.
If Link is realy so much above Sora than you must talk about an completly other incarnation from him. But I did not know about MM Link which is the same incarnation.
Oh besdes Sora has seen on his Journy much crasser stuff than OoT Link. Undead are nothing new to him. Ass enemies like the Pirates from Port Royal and as Alies like Jack Skelington and the cursed Jack Sparrow.
And Sora is much like Goku. A bit Stupid normaly , a Genies in Battle.
Link is an expert in using weaknesses from his enemies to his advantage.
Sora is an expert to use the strength of his enemies aganst them and an expert in using the environment to his advantage.
He uses viva reaction commands unic techniques aganst almost every enemie.
Overall yes Link is smarter than Sora. In terms of battle I would say they are atleast equaly smart.
And about the Equipment. Most of that is pretty useless against Sora. The Hamer is far to slow, same goes fore the Bombs. But this Mouse Bombs should Sora take serous. But if he time his High Jump and his arial Dodge well even them are no problem.
Sora use no Illusions so forget the Eye of truth. The Bumerang can Link not use as an adult. This weapon can be dangerous but has a short range. Oh and sora can just send Links arows back to him like he do it with Xigbars projectiles.
You blame Sora fore that his Powers come from the Keyblade but many of Link Powers come from the great Fairys.
And Sora has more equipment than you think. He has magical clothes which recharge his MP if they run out in about 50 seconds. The Keyblade Ultima and Soras own MP Haste Abillity can decrase this number. And with bloom+ Accessors even more. I have not played KH 2 FM but I heared that this time can be 12 seconds short. Sora has also other Equipment fore other Stradegies like the Ribbons which incrase defense and decrase elemental damage like from Fire and Ice.
OoT Link is great in Dungeon exploring but in battle Sora is so much better.

Faster in both running and reaction speed, a lot more versatility in his movements and attacks, his magic will be able to protect him and heal him from Links attacks (his magic regenerates rather quickly, especially by the end of KH2), was shown capable of practically flying with his jumps, slicing through buildings, telekinetically controlling 2 weapons while using one in his hands

Hm this is a very interesting match up, Sora and Link are very good fighters but only one would one. It would got to Sora because when you think about it Sora has good magic, reflexes. Sora's reaction commands have shown us what he can do. Also Sora has higher dexterity because he isn't weighted down by a shield and when you think about Sora has more battle experience going for him. Yes Link may have fought more battles but Sora had to constantly change his battle style making him more adept to many situations. Link had never fought a horde of 1000 all at once.
Which Link is this this one seems to be the hero of time one yes he may have Force Delta Link but when you think about Sora had fought those of equal strength or even Stronger. This one is Sora's no matter how you twist it shake it or bake it Sora has this match one from the outset Mask or no Mask.

Sora has better Long Range, Close Range, and has his Summons.
Link has better Pre-Battle, Mid Range, Transformation Masks, is better Physically, Mentally, Preparation, Psychologically, and more Energy Potential.
and they tie in Defense.

I love them both so much! But Link has several life times of experience, more equipment, and more of a tactical thinker than Sora is. As much as I hate to admit it, Sora would die at Link's hands easily...TT_TT

Link is the Hero of time, he has more experience.
Sora maybe save the world, but Link save the would since 15 times.
Links master sword is not a normal sword, and his shield is unbreakable.
Link is more lethal than he looks.

I have only played OoT. But in this one the Master sword was very normal exept the time travel thing. Yeah you need it fore the finishing blow aganst Ganon so it was in one Battle Moment special. Sora save not just the World he save the uneverse. The Keyblade is unbreakebil (exept you damage the Hearth of the wealder) to and can do much more Awsome stuff than the Master sword.
Like I said I only played OoT. So maybe an other vesion of Link could beat Sora. But not this one.
I am to lazy to explain that now why.

Thats a question of taste. To be honest I realy hate OoT Link. He is personalty wise so boring. Sora is meybe not rellay a deep Character but he is entertaining in more than one way. I can not see links coollnes because it gets overshadowed by his being boring. He was the worst part of the game fore me. Never smiling, never looking sad, never being angry, never doing somthing cool that the player did not put in. Never was a character such pain fore me. And he is constantly in the spot light, constantly borrres me to death. So awful.
I normaly like almost all Characters and even characters I like not that much are normaly not realy a deal breaker. Its kind of new to me to hate a fictional Character so much. Its not so long ago that I played the first time OoT 3D. Ok Sasuke I hate to but this a--hole was at least entertaining.
The funny thing is I read two Zelda mangas. Oracle of seasons and Oracle of ages.
In this manga Link talk, he has personalaty, emotions and a family he cares fore. This Link is freaking awesome.
Yeah THIS Link is very cool and personalty wise I like him more than Sora.
I hate realy HATE one Version of Link and realy love another version of him.
But I love Soras Battle style. Power of Friendship? I would rather call it the power of stylish teamwork.
Its maybe in a way not that much bad ass but as team you can do so much more cool stuff than alone. Sora is a god in terms of teamwork but still a bad ass without his allies.
Its really a question of taste who is cooler.

I honestly HATE Sora, so I will have to go with Link. Besides, he has accomplished more and even stomped the guts out of Cloud in a fight. It make sense that he could beat this nobody.

I'm not saying Sora is a total push over, but Link has more moves with his sword (if you count the skills he gets in the more recent zelda games). Ok, maybe I do think Sora is kinda overrated.

Well I only played OoT so I do not know what he can do in other games. But Sora has tons of different moves. He can pul of so many diferent combos. Did you know that he can integrate magic in his combos?
Becuse I have only played OoT I have to go with Sora. I am an die Hard KH Fan.
And OoT Link is the only character in Fiction I truly despise. No other Character was ever such a pain fore me.

Sora better use his magic and stay away because Link is a brawler and he can take a mean hit and he can give one! Sword and shield, heavy weapons are what Link uses, plus he's a great puzzle solver! I do think that Sora is more agile though. However, it's in Link's blood to fight. He can even use his hookshot (or clawshots, depending on which link we're talking about) to reel Sora in for a stab! I'm rooting for Link.

sora, why? he has beat sephiroth, a god of darkness, a god of nothingness, a god of nightmares and dreams, he has so many keyblades that all of them would make a good fight against link, plus there are his drive forms

Faster, stronger, better reaction time. Probably not as smart but he is shown to be just as clever when it comes to defeating enemies, given the reaction commands in the series.

Better magic, it depends on the situation really. Sora has magic that is much more suited and versatile in combat, alongside having a nearly limitless supply of magic power as well. Links magic is better for situations outside of combat but is rather limited in magic power unless having certain consumable items.
Keyblade seems to have similar properties as the Master Sword, but like with their magic, the Keyblade is better suited for combat (having been shown to transform into other keyblades and different weapons all together) and as a bonus, is capable of the ability to unlock nearly everything with a lock, including data locks. Master Sword is powerful in situations, having been shown the ability of time travel, albeit in limited form.

I agree; Link simply has to much experience for Sora to beat him, as well as deadlier more combative magic. Sora's magic also runs on a mana system which depletes far to quickly.

I think Soras magic is better than OoT Links. Dins spell is actually pretty lame. Nayurls love is impresiv. I did not deny that. Nut I would say Sora is the one with more experience. He fights the whole goddam time and much crazier stuff. and Link spend the half of his time to solve puzzles. Link did not have the knowledge of his past lifes. I mean if he had that than would training with one of his past incarnations (Heros shade) be pointless.

Link. Waaaay more tricks, waaaay more equipment. While Sora does possess far greater magics, he's limited by his mana. Additionally, any damaging spell Sora casts is classified as Black Magic (thanks to the massive Final Fantasy hybridization that is Kingdom Hearts). Link is especially well equipped to deal with, withstand, and defeat wielders of evil magic, which I suspect Black Magic qualifies as. Ranged engagements will swing Link's way almost 100% of the time due to the mirror shield, that amazingly BS piece of equipment that nullifies and reflects oh so much magical damage, which is Sora's primary if not sole way to deal damage at range. In CQC, I'm not too too sure. The issue is that while Link has more ways to do stuff, it doesn't directly translate into the capacity to beat down a given opponent. . . on the other hand, as we saw in the Link vs Cloud deathbattle at Screwattack.com, Link's Z-targeting lets him basically just huddle under his shield infinitely, no matter what a dedicated swordsman does to attack him. So, yeah, Link wins I think?

The Shield is not bad but aganst Soras thundaga he is usles becuse That one is to fast. Firaga is more a combo modifier. Yeah aganst Blizzaga the shield can work very well.

Link is more skilled and experienced. He has slain more monsters and can change tactics on the fly to fight any opponent.

Aganst that more skillet thing I can not argument becuse I only know OoT. In this one he show not nearly as much skill as Sora. But this is an old game.
But I think Sora has more Battle experiance. Link has not the knowledge of his past lifes. I mean if he had He would do not need one of his past selfs ( Heros shade) as a teacher. And half of his time he solve puzzles. Sora fight fare more. And Judged on the lame enemies in OoT ( I never have seen such a slow Dragon ore such lame witches) fare crazier stuff.
