So, I know that I went pretty radio silent for the majority of this year, but lord, let me tell you, things have been pretty crazy over here.

I wanted to put together a fun little postcard tradeoff with you guys, but shortly after heading home to my girl in England, my housing situation went- for lack thereof a better way of putting it- tits'up. My agreed housemate took it upon herself to, after all of the paperwork, background checks and deposits paid- by me personally- to back out of an apartment with me, and so rudely interrupting my long-awaited- after a year of being away from home- vacation.
In turn, I had about a week to figure out what the hell I was going to do and how to not be homeless after three weeks of unpaid leave from my job.

As you may guess, I managed, but doing so without a housemate has left me very, very broke. Since I've been back in the states, I've been working my regular job, got hired for a freelancing history researching temp gig in a sales/marketing dept. in a hotel, and am trying desperately to find the time and energy to get my commissions done so I can have a moment to spare for the very human and essential function of drawing oxygen to my suffocating lungs.

I swear, either the universe hates me and I can't catch a break- ever-, or I am somehow a master to my own destruction and love to overload myself with work and in turn, drown in it. I can't tell which is most accurate.

Anyway, I figured that it was only fair to give a shout to those of you who read these, as well as my remaining commissioners-

I promise, when I'm not at my day job, I am working very hard to get your orders done. <3
