I dreamed of Loki transformed into a bird of prey once, this just reminded me of that dream and gave me chills. It's beautiful

Fantastic!  I love the wings (falcon cloak?) and the way his hair dips down into the cauldron, which I assume is a part of the spell.  Wonderful take on him!
