Goooood afternoon! I hope everyone is having a fantastic fun Friday πππ
Today's outer space painting is based on NGC 2264, which contains the "Cone Nebula", the "Christmas Tree Cluster" π, and the "Snowflake Cluster" βοΈ I'm not sure I really see a structure that looks like a snowflake, but it does look a bit like a Christmas tree (maybe I should have painted it in green!?). All the overlapping wispy parts were really fun to paint, but I got a little carried away in a few parts and just let it flow however it wanted to rather than get too stuck on making it "perfect" π
