Born on a small farm, Darwin's name wasn't originally Darwin. He was raised among other dogs and enjoyed his time as a fun-loving care free dog who helped herd livestock, keeping them away from the more dangerous areas of his home town, as well as entertain his family by bringing back their sticks.

One day he got under the poorly put together fence and went exploring, only to narrowly escape certain death at the hand of terrifying beasts, he found himself in the sanctuary of a small town, and quickly found the nearest person he could to be fed. It was a little more difficult than at home, but sure enough, the kind Bowen L. Hooker took him in and fed him. Having completely forgotten his way home, he decided he might safer and happier if he simply repaid Bowen's kind hospitality with never leaving him alone again, and helping him and his friend Solander with their endeavors of running ISIS, and perhaps even help them discover nuclear energy, if they ever asked him about it, of course.

At some point the two men started calling him Darwin, and thus he had his new name. He never quite understood what it meant, but he was sure it was a flattering term. He's been with them ever since.

Light brown on his back, tan on his stomach, with medium length hair on his main coat, fruff on either side of his face, and longer hair on his tail, he's a bit scruffy looking at times. Darwin isn't always the best at keeping himself clean, neat looking, or nice smelling, but his personality is one of a kind. Loyal, trusting, and generally happy, it's rare he's ever sad... unless he's being scolded of course. About 2 feet tall and 3 feet long, he's a good healthy size, and maintains his shape well, as well as the shapes of the other two taking care of him.

When meeting new people, he'll often greet them with a friendly hello in the form of jumping up excitedly and planting his paws in their stomachs repeatedly, quickly followed by a good licking to the face if he successfully knocks them over.
