Description
Whew. I finally finished the basic bridle. I put too much time into this, but I'm really happy with it. Hopefully my chaotic way of making things will not foil minervamagicka in texturing it.Reminder that the horse expansion is not yet released so I can't get this in game to test. Will have to go through additional steps once it is out which may take some time after release to make it all work correctly.
I have a lot more bits I made (curb/shank bits) that I was going to show off first but I'll just save them for when the bridle part is done. No one is as excited about seeing bit only pieces as I am. And now that the base bridle is done, making variations should be easier. I aim to have the two variations you see in the image, a double dressage bridle, and a figure 8 bridle by the time the pack is released. From there, I'll be moving on to more specialty bridles that I already have some of the parts made for (ex: racing, micklem, saddle seat, bitless).
It's unfortunately not reasonable for me to create a bridle that includes every variation of bit, browband, and noseband. I plan to release initial combinations at my discretion and then probably run polls for other combinations.

Sims 4 horse CCSo the Sims 4 is finally adding horses. As some may or may not know, I used to create equine CC for Sims 3 under the stable name Morning Star Equestrian. I was unsure if I ever would have a desire to do it again. Well, to my own personal surprise, I got the inspiration to do 3D work again after seeing the trailer and announcement. Before reading more: the expansion is not out yet! Any process work is using the Sims 3 horse model with assumption there will be little to change once the Sims 4 one is available. Additionally, don't expect my work to be available day 1 of release. Meshing and texturing is only part of the process. Making it work in game is the second part and often, in my experience, the part that can be the trickiest. Some general information below:I will share WIPs on here of my 3D work. I do NOT work with textures so none of my WIPs will likely have textures. I am partnering with @minervamagicka who is a magician with texture work and general game modeling. I do not take requests. I may run polls, but I don't take direct requests. I did this back when I made Sims 3 CC and it caused me to burn out very quickly. I like working in a 3D space. I will make what I want to make and if you want it, too, that's great. Trust me, my own to-do list is exceedingly long and constantly growing. My focus is English tack, mainly bridles and bits. I don't have plans to do hair as the Sims 4 hair art style is much different than I used to do. I will be exploring fantasy/costume options. I don't really care if it's silly, niche, or unrealistic. These are things I'm interested in making. I don't think I can convert any of my previous work since a lot of my fantasy content relied on transparency properties of the mesh which I just don't know if it will work the same for TS4. Don't invite me to your RP communities. I have no desire to join one again. If I stop making content or if new content is slow, please do not pester me about it. I have a more intensive work schedule than I did back in TS3 days as well as working on other creative pursuits.Lastly, all content myself and @minervamagicka create will be freely available. We may set up a ko-fi or Patreon with optional donation (tbd), but nothing will be gated behind a paywall or community requirement. I acknowledge both that this is a hobby and that Electronic Arts is the ultimate holder of anything created for their game. However, please be a good human and not steal or fail to give credit. See all you horse simmers in late July
