Abilities: Ryan possesses the ability to manifest flames around him, primarily using it in the form of controlled flame bursts and fireball projectiles, but when he decides to go all out, he can virtually set an entire battlefield ablaze, provided there are factors that allow for this to occur. He has received expert training in hand-to-hand combat, and his suit is fireproof, allowing him to engage in heated combat freely.

Weaknesses: As his powers are purely fire-based, water, ice, and earth-based powers can quell his flames or extinguish them outright. If someone manages to push him over the edge, he can become a danger to friend and foe alike, as his flames can run rampant if his emotional state should reach a boiling point.

Personality: Ryan is extremely serious and calculating, which is one of the reasons why he is known as Agent Scaldamander, due in part to him acting more like a superspy agent at times than a superhero. He often shows no emotion, oftentimes coming off as impassive, but deep below his facade is someone who fears what his powers can do if he does not keep his emotions in check.

Background: Ryan was enlisted into the superhero academy tied to a (so far unnamed) superhero league from a fairly early age because his superpowers were running wild with his temper, and that meant a house could burn down in glorious fashion if he flipped his lid. He was taught to control his powers by keeping calm and eventually took this to heart, becoming a bit of a cold and distant person due to his fear of his power hurting anyone by accident. Eventually, he graduated from the academy and was assigned to a team with four other superheroes, two of which would be able to suppress his flames if they should get out of hand. Over time, he formed a solid friendship with these other four heroes: Aeroblade, Terraheart, Bifrost, and Magistar.

Here's Agent Scaldamander, a character I created that was roughly inspired by a superhero lion called Wildfire, but with a vastly different personality and different species. But the inspiration is still there with the suit colors and the powers Agent Scaldamander possesses!
