Personality: Dune tends to look impersonal even when amongst friends. It isn’t that she doesn’t like being with people, just that she doesn’t tend to emote strongly. She tends to keep her thoughts to herself unless asked, preferring to watch those around her for the most part.

It can be difficult for others to get close to her because of this. When Cheesecake and Primrose (established NextGen characters) take her into their fold she is grateful to them for giving her a chance. While she can't match either pegasus or earth ponies energy, she takes their tea parties seriously. She lacks much of a sense of fashion but allows the other two to (sometime overly eagerly) dress her up.

Her friends are caring and watch for her subtle signals of like or dislike. Over time the trio has become inseparable, though most people can't see how Dune Grass fits in with the other two.

Bio: Dune grew up always close by the ocean. Her mother worked by the oceanside and often brought Dune with her to teach the filly about the ocean and the creatures in it. Dune found this interesting and enjoyed the time with her mother, though she never showed a keen interest to actually get into the water, much preferring to lay in the sand and watch. While Dune particularly liked watching the ocean storm she never felt particularly attached to it.

When her parents decided to move to Canterlot she felt a vague sort of sadness about leaving her childhood home. There wasn't a group of friends she would leave behind, just a few acquaintances she would spend time with now and again.

It wasn't until she met two tea party obsessed ponies in Canterlot that she truly found a friend group of her own. Dune still isn't quite sure what happened the day she was ambushed by the two, just that she found herself at Cheesecake's home and was being questioned about her far off and 'awfully romantic' (according to Primrose) life.

Dune found herself returning to have tea parties with the two again and again, slowly forming a strong and deep bond. She doesn't say it, but she would do anything for her friends.

I'm going to try and write up a story for her in the upcoming days, but wanted to try and get some art done for this angel. ; - ; I LOVE this design so much. As soon as I saw her I wanted to draw for her. I unfortunately ran out of time to finish all the sketches I had for her as I am going to be going away tomorrow/ today and won't have my computer with me. I wouldn't be back until the dta was finished and so I tried to get at least one piece done.
