I've been messing around on Inkscape again. This is my third real project and I'm starting to get fairly good at using Inkscape. I'm still disappointing though, because it's an honest to god pain in the butt to fill areas with color. I wanted to fill the insides of the USSR in red, Russia in green, Canada in pink, and the ocean in blue...but the fill tool was screwy and it was too much for me to dare figure out right now. I'll try and figure out how to use it later. For now though, same brown texture as usual. It works. Mostly.

As far as a write up goes, it's not to difficult to get so I figure giving a deep background is a waste of time. The Bolsheviks won the Russian Civil War but the Russian Whites fled to Alaska which was not sold in the 1800's. Also I included the remains of a railroad that connected Alaska and Russian Siberia. This was a real project but WW1 ended it. If Russia still owned Alaska and Alaska was pumping out gold, then I figure they'd be more interested in the project. It ended up getting dynamited during the evacuation from Siberia when the Whites fled so the Soviets and the Whites are starting each other down for all eternity now.
