My slightly modified WinXP Pro desktop at home.Using a Watercolor .msstyle theme i found online somewhere with a Propaganda tile as the desktop background. the icons are my own creation, ported over from MacOS X icons i've found on the net.
notice the semi-translucent folder icon on the desktop and explorer window
i've hand-converted about 200 MacOS X icons into XP format (culled from Xicons.com and Iconfactory.com ). if i get enough interest, i'll post them up here too.

so does it work on 2000? my friend really wants his old windows 2000 to look like xp. Help anyone?

the audio-player i'm using is Quinntisential CD 3.x from http:://www.quinnware.com
while it lacks decent visualization plugins, it does support Winamp 2.x DSP plugins and is an amazing player with freeform skinning functions. i seriously doubt winamp 3.0 will beat this player's small footprint and speed.
