Fiiiinally a collab! I've been wanting to host one a long time. And you actually thought I'd be doing them commissions? No when I can procrastinate (just kididn plz dont h8).And yeah, decided to go with mermaids. 'Cause I can, that's why.
EDIT1: I added a new spot just for Pam as 'white' because she's awesome .u. Then came the stunning piece from Alice! (though, the update happened at once)
EDIt2: Can you see how the places of the spots changes every time a spot is finished? That's because I want every doll to stand out as much as possible ; u ;
EDIT3: Two parts in a day? Woo!
EDIT4: IT'S GETTING DONE! So excited to get to finishing it soon ; w ;
EDIT5: Added wo parts and only two are left! Now I'll start making the background (like I'd leave this collab with an ugly, white bg).

Rules:
<> ASK for a spot (I-VII). I take the right to decline if I think you're not experienced enough in pixels in my opinion.
<>CREDIT me for the base and collab, please. I did work for this, after all.
<>USE an original character of yours or your persona that is not any kind of a mermaid or partly one (that includes cyrins). Said character shall be transformed into one in this collab.
<>THE spot you have is just a base. Make up whatever design that fits your character, like sharks, jellyfish and string rays.
<>YOU have certain amount of time finishing your part. This will not be left unfinished, guys. Inform me if you need more time. The time limit is 2 weeks.
<>WHEN asking for a spot, give me the name of the character you'll be using and a color of rainbow (
& violet ) that you will include in your doll. There will be no doubles.<>PLEASE include a small signature on your doll/close vicinity to the doll. This is for my personal taste.

What kind of tablet do you have?
If it's a bamboo, I wouldn't be surprised that it is acting up. I had my first for like a year or two and it didn't like working T^T
There is a lot of the design that I didn't put into the sketch simply because I wanted it to run with the body as I felt it coming to me.

I have a Trust tablet :> The tablet itself is really good in my opinion, but the pens aren't. The get easily broken or disconnected xc

I do work in pixels, the ref is in pixels. But that's okay! And I can do myself instead if possible? I reread that and the wording had confused me at first, sorry.

Nevertheless, a couple of things: spot II was chosen by Alyce. And there's a chance you would have to choose another color, as orange was all ready requested but it might be changed, too. And the pixel-ref doesn't quite level up with the standard I'm looking for BUT it is made in 2k13, so a new ref with new skills, perhaps?
