Wow! I was absolutely stunned to find, after clicking the DD thumbnail, that this wasn't a photo of a sculpture/metalwork piece. It is an amazing interface - I love the glowy buttons, and the way that the middle button reflects as a stylized power button.
I had a question, though, about the diagonal striping/reflection/shadowing to the left of the "Visuals" - was there some ridged tubing there before, or is it possibly pixelation? I only mention it because I can't quite puzzle out the source of the subtle stripes.

Hi, sorry. I kinda wasn't sure myself, so I downloaded the picture and zoomed in further. It turns out that what my brain was seeing and interpreting as "stripes" is actually a really sharp edge.
To clarify: the edge between the darker button (the one that reads "Visuals") and the outside edge of the face of the gas mask (so, in between the right edge of the eye bubble and the left edge of the button-plate thing) appears to have a less smooth transition than the rest of the mask, creating an illusion of slightly darker "stripes" that run diagonally (directionality: bottom left to top right). It's barely noticeable, and it may only be on my monitor, so I don't know whether that helps...
It's a totally awesome interface, anyway. Congrats on the DD!

I have a random suggestion... Make the filter things go in a bit to give it a more 3-D feel.
