While trying figure out how to get to the Egg Carrier. Cream saw her friend Tails. Cream asked Tails if he could bring them to the Egg Carrier. Tails was told by Sonic to watch Cream after dropping him of, so Tails didn't want Cream to get in danger. Cream wanted to help get her Mom back, and Yoshi and DK have offered to help. Tails asked who they where. After explaining the whole story to Tails, he decided to give them a lift. But his Plane can only carry only two people. Cream and Cheese can fly, but they would not have enough energy to make it to the Egg Carrier.
