A while ago i had an idea of a rock/fire fish based on thermal vents but when i tried it didn't work to well so i kinda shelved the idea. last night i just randomly realized that a blob fish would be the perfect fish to base this idea on so i drew it and i think i have created something that is constantly in existential terror! surrounded by water and living on the ocean floor "ground" constantly in contact with it's two 4x weaknesses D: or maybe it's just it's surface form's face?

as for the form change that is purely cosmetic, under water it's slightly sleaker looking held together by pressure, on the surface though it's internal heat and preasure bloat it's body out exposing cracks and the lava that makes up it's fins. shiny form's blue lava is inspired by a volcano in indonesia that has so much sulfer in it that fire the lava starts glows blue!

it's primary ability is water absorb which i think works great as it nulls the 4x water weakness and allows it to live underwater. it's hidden ability is solid rock which isn't that good on this typing but eh it's a thing. due to it's living underwater it can only learn one fire type move in Eruption. otherwise it learns a number of water type moves like Scald and Muddy water.

Typoon is kind of a filler fakemon idea, a cross between tube worms and harpoons. they like to congregate around blobva to filter feed the nutrient rich waters blobva expels from it's back while it eats. When startled they rocket away using aquajet. otherwise they're kinda weak and slow nothing special. if i figure out what to do with them i might give them an evolution later.
