Description
What started off as a simple question turned out to be a whole slew of character concepting...

The idea started off with a friend asking "what would a gelatinous cube look like as a humanoid" and my first two drawings ended up sparking an "you should draw humanoids of all the various "more well known apparently there's hundreds... of slime monsters in the DnD manual.

first is my first thought on gelatinous cube girl, just a bulky cubic humanoid figure. kind of boring though.
second is a just Chemicloe but with cubic hair.

third here is a grey ooze dude, the monster sounded like it was living mercury especially corrosive to metals, except oddly Iron "irl" so I went a bit of a melmetal vibe to him with some iron bits on him to add detail.
Fourth is the Gelatinous Cube girl V2, the cube seems to be the most solid of the slimes and likely the hardest to just pull away from, so i made her more of a beefy grapple type wrestler.

fifth is slithering tracker, a being who's basically a glob of angry living water. I started designing a character and realized. oh wait. i already designed this guy...

sixth is Orche Jelly, it's specialty is splitting. not the happiest with her designs yet but it's a thing.

lastly is dragonblood ooze, their specialty is having a breath attack, so i drew this guy breathing a poisonous explosive vapor!

not sure if I'll do much with any of these guys besides putting them on my character list maybe redesign a few later. and of course Chemicloe who kind of represents the black pudding slime which is kind of a king of the monster type.
