The stunning young face of Ema [link]
This was taken in a reserve very close to my house yesterday. The natural lighting was very tricky with the sun coming in and out of clouds through the tree canopy. I also had to use a high ISO which was annoying because of low light.

was this a shoot that went from glamor to nudes by inntention or accident? how do u plan things typically im just curious if theres a best format overall or should one determine only once they meet and become familiar with the model

this was a glamour and slightly fetish shoot. we had already discussed the partial nudity beforehand
i think it is a good idea to have basic ideas and boundaries agreed beforehand so that nobody feels uncomfortable on the day

this is true i figured that much but im just wondering where the photographer should say "i wanna do blah" because thats what theyre going for artistically and where the model has presidence as far as preference ...

i ask them if they want to do nude or partial nudes when we are first discussing ideas. the choice is 100% their own.
if you are only looking for nude models then tell them and you can part ways without a shoot.

well yeah i kinda figured you have to be striaght forward about it from the start but as far as who gets precedance when it comes to poses? i mean sometimes the model may have an idea but it might be outside the artists theme, still u he or she (the artist) may be better off trying it simply for the sake of exploration, after all lifes a box of chocolates u may think u dont like it but u end up doing so...which was my experience with sushi for one, never thought id like the stuff but now i love it...

i like it when models vary their pose - makes my life easier and i can concentrate on other aspects more. i think most of my shoots end up a mix of poses chosen by both myself and the model
