oil on wood 81cmx100cm or 31.89"x39.37""J'habite,ici,dans l'Occident,cette vieille ville fortifiée,où m'enchaîne la mélancolie.Indifférend aux soucis politiques de ce siècle et de cette partie,aux forfaits passagers de ceux qui les représentent,je m'attarde quand les soirs du solennel automne enflamment la cime rouillée des forêts.-Parmi les resplendissements de la rosée,je marche,seul,sous les voûtes des noires allées,comme l'Aïeul marchait sous les cryptes de l'étincelant obituaire!D'instinct,aussi,j'évite,je ne sais pourquoi,les néfastes lueurs de la lune et les malfaisantes approches humaines."

Really do love the sheer amount of detail you put into the vegetation including the moss. Particularly love the perspective on this painting with the ornate carved towers. Great atmosphere combined with the encroaching vegetation gives me a feeling of a long forgotten and ancient civilization.

The water and the moss are so realistic. I'm not good enough to even know where to start drawing when it comes to those things. I love that brain coral in your paintings, too. Very nice textures in it. I'm waiting for you to become wildly popular here, but it doesn't seem to be happening. Ah well. At least I found these pieces.

*gasps* My,my... such awesome work! Makes me think of old 'adventure' novels, odd, unknown civilizations forgotten in far way jungles... some sort of Bali-temples fresco feeling? It has something beautiful and very creepy at the same time. The details you managed to render in this... it's really wonderful!

You French-people don't like to speak(write) in English, but you art speaks for it self. 3 buildings with different feelings. I dig the Flying-jellyfishes. Flowers giving seeds (HMMMM ). Keep it up........................................

Une ville fantastique, belle et effrayante, qui semble avoir traversé les âges.
Les sortes de méduses me font penser à une ville sous-marine, même si ça ne semble pas être le cas.
Quant aux statues elle me donnent l'impression d'être arrivée dans une des étranges cités décrites par Lovecraft.
