hard to miss when they show up and unlike the large jellyfish that drift across the skies of this world and reality these creatures are aggressive and seek out things to consume...which is why there is a dedicated armed force assigned to keep them from city boundaries or other densely populated areas...their size is problematic as when they are attacked and destroyed they crash to the ground and can thrash about for hours obliterating anything they come in contact with...they carry a wide assortment of parasitic/mutagenic infections so any area that they fall must be sanitized by means of fire
