they are rather cool to watch, i'm just not overly fond of them crawling over my face
and their tendency to carry amazingly large stingers which require little of any
provocation for them to use

Haha those are usually just wasps. You know a really freaky wasp? Sphecius speciosus. They're freaking huge ._.

I see them around my area, but thankfully they're not aggressive towards humans. (y)

that's because no one is silly enough to annoy them into showing the consequence of their collective displeasure

This is really wonderful. ^^ I love the style of shading you used on the hand and the glittery accents on the butterfly's wings. Beautiful<3

actually the card was textured with several layers of destress ink
the hand was cut out of an old Farmers Almanac (from 2002), and the
butterfly was found in a collection from a scrapbooking company...
it never hurts to have a large collection of smaller pieces to work with
since any given project may only need one small element to tie
everything together...at the same time too many things can be distracting
keeping things simple seems to work better for me

thank you very much...
you should try doing this yourself
...any of the card collage groups
would be very helpful in getting
started i can give you a few names
if you need them and collaborating
with other artist is a great way to
improve your own skill set...it's also
a LOT of fun
