they might resemble jellyfish but there is nothing delicate about them...passive if left alone but will defend themselves if provoked, attacked or annoyed...they are hunted by some although there is little worth eating and when punctured the creatures sometimes explode...their hide when properly tanned is very resilient much like kangaroo hide but much lighter and thinner...but is smells exceptionally vile...which is actually hard to notice out in the wasteland where no one has bathed in months and only inadvertently when caught out during an infrequent torrential rainstorm blown in from shattered coasts
