"Psychedelic Solstice: A Visual Symphony" is my latest work, a tribute to the vibrant universe of psychedelic art. I wanted to create a piece that encapsulates the depth and the vibrancy of the human mind's imaginative realms, and this painting is the embodiment of that vision.
The heart of my creation lies in the solarization effect used to lend an ethereal aura to the entire scene. I wanted the colors to be not just seen, but felt, each hue pulsating with a life of its own. The glow they emit is otherworldly, reminding us of the limitless wonders of the cosmos.
For the technique, I chose to work with an airbrush, allowing me to softly blend colors and create seamless transitions between different elements of the painting. Each stroke is both a calculated move and a spontaneous burst of creativity.
My fascination with the charm of yesteryears, fondly termed 'grandparentcore', also finds a way into the painting. Elements from a time gone by add a nostalgic touch to the otherwise surreal landscape, creating a bridge between the familiar and the fantastical.
