god I churned out a lot of art--

I started the year by losing my Apple Pencil. The first drawing was done with my finger--I understand this means little to some of you who routinely draw with your fingers but still its hard to shade and all. Throughout February-June I practised shading a lot, with July came a lot of scenes, and since then I've been toying with different expressions and shading methods.

Around October I started primarily using a modified version of a rougher brush than I'd used previously, along with multiply on the shade layers. I found these to be really helpful. Finally, this is very recent but I've begun using gradients in my lineless art where previously I would put lines, to define say the neck from the head if they're the same color. Really loving the look.
