I liked these little character designs well enough to give include them in the Squad fanproject and flesh them out. They didn't have names so naturally, I gave 'em some. Nonetheless, in said alternate universe, they are...

The Day and Night Duo!
Laura/Morning Glory is an shy, yet overly dramatic theater kid who has the ability to blast concentrated beams of light from her hands while Luna/NightShade is sort of a goth for lack of a better term with the ability to become completely silent, using said power to sneak up on criminals to give 'em a beating. These two got their powers at the same time and place as The Squad so they also have the 'flying brick' powers they do. The Duo works together to keep the city safe, but unfortunately for them, The Squad are ALSO working towards the same path and are ALSO kid superheroes. This leads to a rivalry between the two teams. It's mostly Luna who thinks this, however, Laura is happy to assist any hero who she thinks needs a helping hand.

Characters designed by Ajmarekart , though their personalities and whatnot have mainly been filled in by me. Everything related to their hero alter egos is also my doing.
