Sheik enters King Pig's palace and sees Sakura chained up in court! Sakura calls out to Sheik but Sheik started to teleport before it hit his brain that Sakura called out to him. Still, he manages to quickly throw out a Deku nut at one of the police officer pigs to stun them before disappearing.

Meta Knight, seeing Pico leave the hostage room and hearing Sheik's distress call. Ties up the hostage as good as he can and fires up the Halberd's engines before departing to provide backup at Pig City.

Back at the main army base, Fox comes up to Link, who's still watching over the hostage situation.
Link: *looks up at Fox* Hey Fox what's on your mind?
Fox: Commander...
Fox puts his badge down on the table. Link looks at him confused.
Link:...Fox?
Fox: Commander, I'm sorry but I can't just let the man who saved my life fly off into battle alone. Who knows what could happen to him? Our enemies are strictly airborne for Zelda's sake! I'm starting up the Arwing. Goodbye commander.
Fox walked away to the loading bay
Link: Fox? Fox!!! Wait!!!
Link got up to go after Fox but realized it was no use and sat back down, holding his head in his hands. Zelda suddenly appeared behind him and tried to comfort him.
Zelda: Link... I'm sure he'll be back...
Link: *looks up at Zelda* I'm not so sure. I mean two of my finest are M.I.A. and now Kiku's off looking for one of them!... I hope we'll be able to get more troops... or else our kingdom may be in danger...

Down in the tunnels beneath Strawberry Shortcake's house. AngryObjects, Chuck, Bomb, and Red are making their escape until they see their only exit is blocked by one of Hyrule's troops who was put on guard duty due to being useless at everything else. Now with the birds coming right to him... he might be able to redeem himself.

Above King Pig's palace, Meta Knight sees something out of the corner of his eye below the Halberd.
Fox: Got your 6 Meta!
Meta Knight looks down and sees the Arwing
Meta Knight: Fox! What are you doing here!
Fox: I couldn't stand to see you go alone. You saved my life so I think this is the least I could do.
Meta Knight: No Fox! I'll be fine! Go back to base and check on the hostage!
Meta Knight armed the grabber on the Halberd so, if one of the birds happened to fly at him, he could catch them.
Fox: No can do Meta! I've already turned my dog tags in!
Fox started doing barrel rolls and somersaults in the Arwing while circling the Halberd, keeping his turrets at the ready... just in case.
