I love creating cliffhangers. I used to love them in old TV programmes such as Dr Who and those children's series they used to show on a Saturday morning. The chapters of 'The Haunted Snow Globe' were printed two weeks apart in the newspaper in Japan, so the editor insisted that there should be a hook at the end of every one. Β

Whatever happened to the the childrens series on Saturdays...They would be so much better than the things they put on now!!

I don't know 'Milkshake' but I remember watching repeats of children's series from the 50s and 60s when I was growing up in the late 70s. All sorts of things - Lassie, White Horses, Zorro, Buck Rodgers, you name it, I watched it.

It has alot of different characters...It's a bit like Camberwick green,,,,,but give me the old ones Β anyday!!!The whistling Clangers make children laugh too!!!Can't remember when they came out"!"

Haven't they brought the Clangers back? I've heard they've made an excellent remake. I used to love the Clangers when I was a kid. I think the original series was made in 1969. Β
