The silhouette of Diane Honeydew makes the picture look quite sinister. This illustration went down very well with my readers in Japan.

I reckon it's due to the fact that there's a huge sun in the picture. It reminds me of the Japanese flag.

This is so awesome Andy I love how the house   looks and the sun looks but I hate the witch with the the umbrella!   You did a great job with it.

I was fairly pleased with this one. It looks quite beautiful (the sun, the house, the garden), but there's also something very sinister about it.

Yes, I was quite pleased with this one. It's a complete hybrid of hands-on and and digital techniques. I was on a deadline and needed to do it quickly. The house and the silhouette were done with pen and ink. The blades of grass were felt-tip pen. The sun in the sky was done with crayon (and then smoothed out in Photoshop). It looks sinister but beautiful at the same time. (Hopefully).
