She's arriving on the 22nd. I've cleaned the flat from top to bottom. The decorations look impressive. But my mum's a whiney fusspot. She will eventually find something to criticise. Last year, for instance, she found a bit of dust on a picture frame and she didn't stop moaning about it for at least half an hour.Β

She's what I call a 'Dust Nazi'. If she so much as sees a speck of dust she goes completely bananas. For a bloke, I'm well above average in terms of cleanliness and tidiness, but I just can't reach my mothers high standards. I've spent the last two or three days cleaning the flat and it's fit for a queen.Β
