Once upon a time, I use to have two deadhead wolves under my employ. A pair that was starting to bond. Once bonded they would be inseparable and only loyal to the needs of the pair. Unfortunately, Gloomy Blue's dad became something bigger in the shadow realms and decided his daughter deserved better. He forced her to come join the new family business and left AshGrey behind.
Ash still helps me meet my soul collecting quota, just barely. His get up and go has got up and went. Despite all the other eligible individuals, I won't have the same top notch team again.
