The composition and the colouring sure are amazing but what I like the most are the pose and the expression. Those eyes... pain, insurance, love... there's everything in them. That really is marvellous.

The colours in this really lend to the mood of the picture. And the fact that it's dark gives it a sad, almost depressed atmosphere.

I use Arches Hot Press watercolor paper, and I mostly use watercolor but with a bit of acrylic for some of the details. :]

Oh wow.. this is so sad, its wonderful how you portrayed the emotions so well.. I love the dull overcast background - the details are lovely and the shades/tones you used really set the mood well. My favourite part of the character has to be the tail - I love the little fur details! The anatomy is excellent - I love your anthro style, and overall I'm just left really inspired... What a beautiful piece
