An amazing traditional piece. The colors are just beautiful, and I adore the expression on the tiger as he looks up at the fountain sculpture. I really like how you did the water dripping out onto the knife.

Very interesting the intense concentration in his eye, an immense respect for the statue in front of him, makes me believe this is the face of his god, perhaps? A hunter after the hunt, or a shaman after a sacrifice or perhaps magical "ritual", and the water washing away the blood is perhaps a way of saying the god "washes away" the act? Above the god, below the mortal, above purity and below sin. Above comes down the fluid of forgiving purity, and from below, offered up is the shed fluid of mortality?
VERY NICE DETAIL!

This picture has real depth to it! I love it. Definitely an excellent piece, with a somber mood to it. The tiger's got a very religious feel to him, as though he's contemplating the virtues and lessons that the tiger statue represents.

I really love this picture. Both the composition and the expression on the character's face are excellent.
Also, great use of a Kipling quote ^^.

All of your artwork is so beautiful, but this one came out particularly well because the completed image speaks a complete idea, albeit a mysterious one. And square formats are usually so difficult to compose without making stiff, stilted images, but the eye contact (if a stone head can give you eye contact) from the upper left at a diagonal to the lower right, along with the two parallel verticals on the side works really well. And that the light of the image seems to be radiating towards the point where the water contacts with the knife really draws the eye. The background is also beautiful. My favorite part of the image is where the warm light fades into the exposed roots of the furthest tree.
