So... I've been holding off on posting this. But I guess now is as good a time as any.
There are a few RPs that are in progress that will take place before this.

FINALITY - Pt. One
Aira, Eidolon, & Amaryllis
Kol Border
Spring
AIRA
Ever since the discovery of the standing stones in the place where Olin and Juniper had died, Aira had been jittery, skittish. She’d avoided interaction with others, even with her friend Florence. There were too many things going on in her head to put properly into words. The two additional deaths and the quite obviously magical stone circles, on top of the apparent division over what to do among the ranks of the Skydas pack left her feeling on edge. Ever since the group meeting and discussion of the visions of the lake, and of her own strange dream about the raven, Aira had found it difficult to speak seriously with the others about their place on the island, or even about the magic around them. What was she supposed to say, if anything she could bring up might elicit a divisive response as seen in the meeting? Besides, she’d found nothing of use. That in itself had left her feeling hollow and frustrated. The only thing approaching useful that the Seeker had identified was her tenuous two conversations with Vergil, the Kolwolf. Even then, she wondered if she had given him more information than she had received herself.
She tried not to think about her sister.
Amaryllis had been so calm the day they had reunited unexpectedly. She couldn’t help but resent her sister for it, while a part of her was grateful. Amaryllis did not seem to be the entitled, haughty sister that Aira had believed her to be for so long - hence the mixed feelings.
Perhaps if I talk to her, she’ll know some of what’s going on. Perhaps she’d tell me - if the Kol have more information than we do. Skydas… we’re in over our heads.
That thought again, made her blood run cold. Of course they were. Despite the big claims to discover as much as they could about the island, what had they done? Argued until division had become apparent in the pack. There was no sense in it. It frightened her. Once again she thought to her conversations with Florence. He was of a similar mindset, she knew. The Kol had started all of this, but maybe they knew what they were doing.
These were the thoughts stirring around her mind that morning - the morning she decided, once again, to attempt to glean information from the Kol border. Perhaps it was narrow minded, but it had become the only solution in her head. The Kol had to know something more. They had to.
She murmured an explanation to Florence - I’m going to look, just to see what I can find - and then set out.

She stopped near the Kol border as she had last time. The sky was growing dark. Vergil had warned her at least once not to enter the woods, but she needed to find her sister. Last time, a howl had worked in bringing the big brown wolf to the border. She hesitated, then threw back her head and let out a cry. It echoed in the surrounding hills and died in the forest, but went unanswered. The minutes stretched on, and Aira grew impatient. She got to her feet, took a cautious step forward, then another. When nothing happened and no one appeared from the undergrowth and the shadowed forest before her she grew bold.
The brown she-wolf glanced around, then ducked her head and stepped across the territory boundary that separated Kol territory from the free lands.

The woods were surprisingly unimpressive, lacking in unique qualities. She… didn’t know what she’d been expecting. Perhaps a place rife with magic, where the creatures lived on a different level from those in the other packs.
Where wolves lived as gods.
Something moved on the rise off to her right.
Aira whipped around, every hair on end and her tail ramrod straight. In the fading light she could distinguish little between the shadows and the undergrowth.
“Hello?” Aira hissed into the air, looking around nervously. No response came, and nothing in the darkness shifted. She forced the fur along her back to relax. Perhaps it had been her imagination…?
“Aira?”
Aira spun around. Behind her, head poking out from beneath a holly tree, stood Amaryllis. Her eyes were wide and confused. There was an edge of concern to her movements.
“What are you doing here? I heard your howl.”
Aira turned away from the rise and faced her sister, her breathing becoming calm once again. “Ryll… I was hoping you’d come. We need to talk. It’s about the island.”
“The island?” Amaryllis’s eyes widened and one ear flicked back in blatant confusion. “Aira, what are you talking about? You can’t be here.”
“No, I know, but listen—”
She never finished.
From the rise above and behind her a massive shadow lunged. Red eyes like coals locked intently on their targets, pupils constricted to pinpoints. Aira spun in place. Her eyes widened in horror. Her jaw fell open and she began to leap out of the way - too late.
The giant black wolf landed in the middle of her back, jaws closing around her spine, eyes wide and unblinking. Ryll uttered a horrified cry as the jaws tightened with a sickening snap—
Aira’s yelp of pain broke off in a wet gurgle.
Oh— I can’t breathe—
