Round 2: A Trip To The Past

17th Century, 1750
Mughal Empire, India

Hafid's outfit takes inspiration of the clothing princes or maharajas would wear. The pheta style turban was a most for special ocasions, adorned with sarpech ornaments. The zardozi embroidery was applied to the garments, in which metal was used. The traditional jhuti shoes with curved points are also included in the outfit. Peals and stones are used as accesories. As a distinctive touch, a bright magenta was used for the robe.

Very ornate. I was hoping that somebody would draw inspiration from that place and period. I love the costumes from there.

Congrats on beating the deadline!

Hafid looks very handsome.  The detail you put in for the fabric design and jewelry is gorgeous!
