Description
Bar and ivy style illuminated capital on bristol stock artist trading card ( 2.5 x 3.5 inches ).I used Windsor & Newton gouaches ( Ultramarine, Cadmium Red and Permanent White ), and Yasutomo Sumi-e pale gold ink.
The brush I used was a Robert Simmons White Sable Round Size 0.
The example came from the book "The Bible of Illuminated Letters: A Treasury of Decorative Calligraphy".
