The story begins with patrick having a small thought of everything being not real, he later tells spongebob about it but then blanks out and forgets about it. Spongebob becomes anxious about that idea and becomes depressed. Plankton later see's this as an opportunity to steal the formula so he manipulates spongebob to go on a rampage. Spongebob then kills mr krabs by drowning him in the deep fryer. He then kills sandy by suffocating her. He then tries to kill patrick but gets hit by a car instead. Spongebob now thinks he is dead, but still alive due to his regeneration ability manipulates patrick to end everyones life due to his insanity. Patrick being dumb ignores spongebob and shrugs it off. He then meets a tall figure "the gaster in this world". The figure tells him that he lives in a show that is controlled by the audiences. Patrick knowing about this information becomes aware of his surrounding and decides to end his show onces and for all.
