Description
One of my earliest commission works.Click here to FULL VIEW.
I've forgotten who he was that commissioned me, but I do remember what a nightmare it was because this guy got into an argument on the Job Forums about low priced commissions and he used ME as an example about how he got this dude from the Philippines to do all three characters for $25(or $30? I forgot) when I was just being nice to him and thought I should give him more than his money's worth because he sounded so excited about DBZ when he approached me.
The End.
And the moral of the story is...
... don't be the dude from the Philippines.

moral is: everyone has a right to charge as much money as he or she wants for commissions...and Captain Philippines should just be grateful for getting pics. Oh, and some fiddlesticks, too..that is a crucial part od the story.

Its kinda bizarre to see them not in the Toriyama style, but their personalities still shine through!

That looks so kick ass, I love their expressions and how you stayed faithful to the characters while still injecting them with your style. Awesome

I like your version of them! It's different but still preserves the DBZ flavor.
(I agree, don't be the dude from the Philippines! We have to remove that stigma of being "cheap labor")

Wow! Definitely a different take on these fellows. I was pleasantly surprised. To me Toriyama's style is so dominant that it's hard to accept Dragonball fan art that has been drawn with another style... But in this one the difference works!

Some people do have that impression that work from the Philippines can be paid dirt cheap. Well, I guess that's ok, we've got the talent to do more in less time and make it look like it costs more.

Because I guess this is drawn in your personal style.
