Hello everyone! JD and Dusty have been staying busy lately and we have some new offerings for you!

Do you like fish and fun accessories? Take a moment to look at the Kickstarter campaign we just launched! Dusty has designed a set of charming enamel pins based on beastly river fishes and we need your help to bring them to life.

For readers of Mahou Shounen FIGHT!, we have an update:

I (Dusty, writer/colorist/letterer) spent last summer and autumn trying to find a publisher or agent to take on the project but unfortunately my efforts struck out. Published comics is a very tough industry to break into but I don’t think this is a reflection on the potential audience for our story. I may continue to search for an agent but it looks like we’re going to be turning back to the self-publishing option to be able to continue to bring you MSF!.

As I said in our last post, we’ll be making a change in production, in that we’re bringing artist Lapsang Suchong on as the penciller. We’ve been working on creating pages together but we are limited in how much we can produce because JD and I are paying Lapsang for her work out of pocket.

This is where you can potentially help out -- by supporting our other efforts like the Kickstarter and Teepublic shop, you are directly contributing to the funds for producing the next chapter of the comic.

Lastly, we’d like to let you know that we have a small website for the first time in years! It’s mostly a landing page to direct you to our various projects but ScuttlebuttInk.com does once again exist!
