FULL VIEW IS LOVE!!Been wanting to do a meme for a while and this one looked like a lot of fun so I did it. Hopefully I didn't make it look too crappy...
1. I dunno why but I absolutely love the Linear Launcher, even more than the Rocket Launcher and any other powerful weapons. Maybe it's the fact it shoots pretty lights....
2. Umm well this is me. The sad thing is I look like a ripoff of Mike, one of my characters. I also like a lot of things but for the sake of this meme I only put a few, and most of them survival horror related.
3. Not much to say here, these are just my favorite characters. They all have blue eyes interestingly, though I didn't notice until I did this meme. I hope my style didn't screw them up too bad. And, I like Chris pre-RE5 (or his gorillification as I call it.)
4. Probably gonna get backlash for it, but I do not like these two. The characters themselves aren't bad but the obsessive hype over them is enough to put me off.
5. Again, not much to say here, just Chris, Jill, and me taking down some zombies...And I got a headshot!! WHOO!!!
6. The T-virus turned me into a zombie AARGH!! I know they don't say "brains" in RE, but I wanted to add it. And I'm really proud of the hands on zombie-me.
7. I don't like Steve either, especially in Code Veronica. I find his pronunciation particularly annoying, especially the fact Claire is now Cu-LEE-air.
8. Alfred's mad at me for not including him so he sniped me in the forehead causing blood to gush as I dramatically fall.
9. Tried to capture the "You Are Dead" screens here. I got my throat torn out by a zombie, a rather gruesome way to go.
10. Okay, okay, got a lot going on here I should explain. First off, the "yawn"joke is my sad, cheesy attempt at cracking a joke about Chris's penis, the Yawn (big giant snake, people) being a euphemism for "python" which I have heard guys say. Next, I for some reason have a crack-pairing between Chris and Alex Shepherd from Silent Hill (hey, they have similar hairstyles, voices, and were both military guys....and are totally hot together). And lastly, I think Jill might be pissed that Chris is hitting on someone....Yeah I'm blushing, but who wouldn't be with a hot guy like Chris that close to them?
11. This was the best I could do for mourning a character since I dislike most of the ones who are dead and anything I did to mourn William looked cheesy and dumb so I went for a "In Memory" panel.
12. I LOVE Alexia's character and her first transformation is beyond epic (combustible blood!!). I also find a haunting elegance and beauty to her first form.
13. She's threatening to burn me because I have the Linear Launcher, which is capable of destroying her in one blow.

It is what it is. They at least showed up again for The Darkside Cronicles, although not to the epicness of their original incarnations.
I used all my explosive arrows on bandersnatches only to find out later you could unload all of them on the tyrant and then launch the crate without taking any damage. It took me over an hour to finally beat him and the sad thing is I had to go back to a previous save to do save the proper ammo.

I hate that in DSC Alexia killed Alfred!
That Sucks! I did the same except I saved over my last game so I had like wasted alot of ammo! And don't feel bad first time I played I had to quit and try again the next day! LOL!

Yeah he died rather tragically and the fact that Alexia cradled him as he died made it even more sad. It's like they made Alexia a whole other person in DSC (don't get me wrong, I still love Alexia and her persona in DSC is still close to her original) but when she killed Alfred I was like "WTF? That's not right!" I'm just glad the re-tellings are not canon.
I'm just glad it didn't set me back too much. I saved right before you fight the tyrant for the first time so I didn't use my B.O.W. rounds that time (I did it the first time and got screwed on the plane.)

Well, I love the game DSC but when we got to that part my dad was like "what a bi***" and I was shocked and I was like "but thats not what happened" I litteraly stopped the game and explaine the original death to him (since he never played it)!
I regret to say I've only played it once so yah I only got screwed once. But when I get more free time and finish playing RE1 again, I'm going to replay that one also!

I love the art and beauty of DSC and how it sums up, albeit somewhat innacurately, RE2 and CV. It is sad they made Alexia kill Alfred I mean she was evil and badass before so they really had no need to do that. And, don't get me wrong it's still epic the way she transforms, but nothing beats her coming down the stairs in flames all "Imma beat your ass Wesker" in the original.
And the music in the scene where Alfred dies in CV is so beautiful I really wish they would have added it to DSC.
I've played it through twice, once halfway and once completely.

No offince takin because I totlay agree with you! The Alexia vs. Wesker scene is one of my favorites out of the series. Most of all I love what Alexia says in CV "you want it, you do not deserve its power!" It just shows how bad ass she was then as she slowly goes down the stairs she transforms like it was nothing and like that was not enough she goes on to beat the crap out of Wesker! IT WAS SO EPIC!
Yah, the music in CV was great! Although I do like how in DSC they had Alfred (dressed as Alexia) singing ontop of that building it it was a nice (creepy) touch. Oh somthing else I also liked in DSC was the fathers little speech as Alexia was transforming again it sad

Yes! And she has that powerful laugh that makes you go "She's gonna kick some butt!" I loooooooved her voice in CV, Leila Johnson did wonderfully (though Karen Strassman didn't do a bad job either) I laughed my butt off as he was getting his handed to him by Alexia, I'm kind of sad they made it look like he was actually winning in CVX, but we all know Alexia was really winning. The whole Alexia fight was epic.
I think it has my favorite music out of all of the Resident Evils. Oh man when he was up there singing I got this great big ol' goofy smile on my face and was like "That is so awesome" It gave you a little more of a feeling about Alfred when they had him up there. I also love the way they remixed Suspended Doll, it fits so well with the residence. It's like they kept everything intact with CV but made it a whole new thing and it still works as well as the original, minus a few things.

Accualy Wesker is my fav. character out of games (even though you dont like him). but yah Alexia totally and completly owned him, thats why he ran out like a chicken (bawk,bawk)! A lot of people don't like the new Alexia but personaly I LOVE both of them! Its like two sides of the same chracter!
Suspended Doll looked SO awsome in DSC! I also agree that everything in DSC looked creepier and I LOVED it! It had a true RE feeling ti it!

I think it's safe to say Alexia's mine but everyone's free to like who they want. You can tell she's the same character in both of the games, each one of them shows a different side of her.
They did a great job recreating that creepy atmosphere the older games had, I wish they would go back to that.

She's my 3rd favorite but I can say without a dought that she is the creepiest, prettiest, bada$$ villian in the game!
Yah Alexia is totalyy awsome I cant help it I love EVERYTHING about the Ashfords. Thats when Capcom knew what they where doing!
I hate how Capcom is stupid now and tried to end everything in RE5 they tried to tie it all up and had a bad story line.And it wasn't creepy like the other games! Also what they did to Wesker, Chris, and Jill was horribal. Another thing is Sheva deserved more credit but since she was in that game she gets screwed. Its not fair for her! POOR SHEVA!

The Ashford family was a great creation on Capcom's part and they really should look back on what they've created and realize they've strayed too far from a formula that worked so well.
I think maybe they tried to make RE5 too different and when they realized it was going too far, they tried to tie everything up and make the characters someone they weren't and it just failed. And poor Sheva got stuck in it and it's giving her a bad name.

That or knowing a zombie was in the hall and you just couldn't see it. I always somehow managed to run right into them and it made me freak out. The hunters were horrible, they always decapitated me so I'd either have to waste ammo killing them or try to get around them which never ended very well.
Because they feel the need to "refresh" the storyline which is dumb because it's the characters who made the storyline anyway.

Me Too! Spiders jump and crawl on you with there creepy gross little legs and they bite! RE spiders are even worse they do the same except there giant and they spit poisen at you!
I think that in the new one because there making RE6 with new characters that there going back to the orginal way.

Me too! If they are are not supper tiny (the only size I will even kill) I'll make someone else kill them. I need to marry a guy who LOVES to kill spiders that way we are both happy! LOL
my exact thought. They should remake 1,2,3,& CV and make it EXACTLY the same but with better graghics, on a newer system.
You cant even find PS1 games anymore or a PS1 and I NEVER want to loose the games (and sh** always happens).

That's usually why I buy ports but they don't always work as well as the originals, they have a tendency to glitch up since the game is merely running on an emulator.

Oh they'll sometimes port a game for another system, like how CV was for the Genesis but later on they ported it to the GameCube and Playstation too. They've done that for a lot of the RE Games. I think you can get 2 and 3 on most consoles now, not to mention they ported the original RE1 in it's entirety to the Nintendo DS.

Im so glad they have kept up the Resident Evil series the way they have. A lot of people hate the movies but they keep the legacy going. yah there most diffenitaly not perfect but if your not compairing them to the game there good. I want resident evil to live on and not die off because of some picky fans. I like to enjaoy all that I can get!

I kind of have mixed fellings about the movies like I whant them to put Alfred and Alexia in them but at the same time i dont because I dont want the movie makers to mess the Them up.
Yeah the movies are good as another possibility to what happened (like in another deminsion) but they dont fallow the story line the closest one to the story line was Apocalypse and Afterlife and even still there pretty far fetched.

I think they tried to take it away from the game story which isn't a bad thing in it's own sense, but usually fans of the game want to see a movie that's faithful to it's root material. I usually don't like movies based on video games for the reason that they change the mythology too much or "dumb" it down so people can understand. Obviously people already understand it if they like the games, why change it?
