Worst feels trip for me ever. I don't care what anyone says, Pyrrha is gonna come back, some day, somehow. Team JNPR and RWBY will come back together. Pyrrha and Jaune will have cute babies with fat cheeks and squishy faces. #Arkos2016EDIT!: Yes, I am aware Jen Brown (Pyrrha's voice actress) confirmed Pyrrha's death and that she won't be coming back. I don't care. At all. In my view, she will come back and have babies with Jaune. And yes, their babies will continue to have fat cheeks and squishy faces.

I just got done watching it! And all I can say are several things. Here are those things:
"Don't give up Yang!! Ruby needs you!"
"Is Ruby....the Winter Maiden?!"
"Did Qrow just seriously turn into a crow? He can do that? So was that other crow outside Yang's window actually her mom, Raven? Can she do that too? What's even the difference between a crow and a raven? I can't tell!"
"PYRRAH!!!!! NO! She turned into dust and floated away on the wind.....you don't come back from something like that!"
"So are they going to be like the new Team RWBY? Ruby, Ren, Nora, and Jaune? What would that even BE as a team name?!"
"Did Yang leave her other Ember Celica on her dismembered arm? I mean, I know it might not matter as much, but she could get a new, mechanical arm and if she does, she shouldn't have left behind her other weapon! It may be kind of gruesome to take it off of her own dismembered arm, but she'll probably still need it eventually! Does this mean she'll never fight again?!"
"I bet Blake is going after Aadam!"
"Is Ozpin dead?!"
"At least we got to meet Taiyang and see Weiss's dad...."

I think someone noted that, just like the spider-droid in the "Black" trailer, Yang's dismembered arm disintegrated after Adam cut it off, weapon and all.

If your question regarding the difference between crows and ravens was genuine, then ravens are larger and tend to be more solitary, whereas crows are much more likely to flock together in murders. Which is actually rather appropriate for those characters: Raven went off on her own, and now Qrow seems intent on taking Ozpin's place as leader of the Beacon Huntsmen.
Also that creepy Grimm lady is apparently named Salem. She narrated the first set of World of Remnants, and was also the one who narrated the beginning of the very first episode. Fun facts!
I also saw someone propose Team RNJR as the new team name. Dunno if it fits the naming scheme or not.

Hmm, interesting! Thanks for clearing that up. I sort of meant how to tell them apart physically, but you kind of answered that too with the size difference. I do appreciate the other facts too. I like to learn. And that is a good observation about Qrow wanting to become the new leader; I didn't think about that! If Raven really can turn into a bird, then perhaps she isn't as bad of a parent as I originally thought. She could have been watching over Yang all this time.
I knew I'd heard her voice before.... But where did the name come from? I get that it's a witch reference, but I mean where did it say that was her name, the credits?
I wonder how it would be said....."Ranger" perhaps?
Btw, unrelated, but nice icon! I've always liked Gardevoir and everything it stands for.

I think there might also be some slight differences in the colour of their feathers, but nothing you would notice unless you were up close and comparing them side-by-side. But yeah, the main differences are the size and social behaviors.
It was the very last one in the cast list, after Taiyang. I believe she was voiced by Jen Taylor.

I was ecstatic when I first saw her Mega. It was amazing! Beautiful, graceful, adhering to the design theme, and also making her look like a bride. But her shiny mega is even better because of the implications if you consider her dress to be a wedding dress. It turns into a funeral gown or something. She looks dangerous, but beautiful! I love how the crest splits into two and looks like a heart kind of when viewed from the front. And the slightly different hairstyle if great too. I'm not sure what about it I like so much, but it just looks better somehow.

Winter Maiden = white-glowing eyes
That is my only reason.

She inherited bright white magic from her mom, which let her freeze a massive grimm.
Its very plausible her mum was the Winter Maiden and Ruby was her last thought.
Of course I'd think Summer was the SUMMER maiden, but that could be advanced trickery.
