Day 10 of 10 days of desserts to celebrate the upcoming holiday season! With this, we are done! Today's dessert is Chocolate Rice Stones (with tuile and red curry marinated strawberries) from Holland America's "A Taste of De Librije" night (aboard the ms Eurodam, but also available on the ms Rotterdam). De Librije is a 3 Michelin star restaurant in the Netherlands, and the food was recreated that night aboard the cruise. Apparently the De Librije chef had been onboard before to ensure that the dishes were up to standard and tasted the sae, and taught the chefs himself how to make some of his signature dishes.

This dessert is not very sweet and more on the mild side. The "sand" around the strawberries is made from rice. Supposedly the strawberries had been marinated in red curry, but I really didn't taste much of any curry. My favorite part was the chocolate tuile!
