Personality: Depending on who Serpentine interacts with, different creatures and critters get to see very different sides from him. With animals, Serpentine is a kindly bat pony who is gentle, both with his words and actions. His fellow creatures, however, know him as a bitter pony who speaks snarkily. However, there are two traits that stay consistent whenever he interacts his others: his strong loyalty which he uses to advocate for pets' health, and his refusal to be cruel to others.

History:

• Raised by his aunt and uncle; he was never told that they weren't actually his parents, but he doesn't care.

• Gained his cutie mark at a young age when one of the family pet cats got ill. She was terrified of going to the vet, but Serpentine managed to calm her down enough to get her check-up. He did the same for the other scared pets (with their owners' permission of course).

• Always aspired to be a vet, however he was denied schooling at his dream veterinary school. He was heavily discouraged after this, so he gave up on that dream. His family managed to convince him to get a job at petsitting since he was so good at it, so he began advertising his services.

• Some former friends snatched up the opportunity, asking for a discount due to their friendship. Serpentine happily obliged and watched his pets. At first, he enjoyed doing these favors, but eventually his friends stopped paying him. He decided to look past this at first, but eventually he got a gnawing feeling that his friends were just using him for unpaid work. He confronted his friends, cutting ties with them. Wanting a fresh start, he decided to move to Concordia to offer his petsitting services there, too.
