  Honestly if you need any excuse to watch Transformers Prime then do it for Knockout because he is one of the best things to come out of this show. He is hands down one of my favorite bots now and this little fasthole wasted no time in stealing my heart. He's a little shit, but he's so charming and just radiating so much confidence that you can't help but love him. Not to mention that voice he's got helps a lot. He's got zero shame, too. He flirted with Optimus Prime, straight up wolf whistled at the guy the first time they interacted in the show and I'm fairly certain he's the only bot to have done so in the entire franchise.
  So of course I just had to give him a flashy design for my AU to match his bold personality.
He's the Decepticon CMO, sometimes going out to do patrols but only if Breakdown is with him. Otherwise, he stays back at the caves and gossips with Starscream all day or hangs out with his boyfriend assistant, Breakdown. He adores puns(and bad jokes in general) and is a bit of a flirt, but he's a fairly laid-back guy. He's usually fussing over his appearance the entire time as well, making sure he looks absolutely perfect and there isn't a spec of dust or dirt on him, which is quite the accomplishment considering the large network of caves the Decepticons live within can get pretty dirty at times.
For some reason or another, Knockout rarely flies. When asks, he just shrugs and says he's not a fan of flying and prefers racing on the ground. Of course, there's all sorts of rumors that have spread about it as dragons try to guess the "real" reason behind it. Some think he's afraid to fly like Blades, others think he's just terrible at it and avoids flying in front of others so he doesn't embarrass himself. The only dragon who knows the real answer aside from Knockout himself is Breakdown and he's not giving away the real answer anytime soon.
Knockout's not exactly one for fighting. He's not really a coward, he just knows how to pick his battles. If he fears getting too dirty or if he's bitten off more than he can chew, he'll turn and run--only to hide right behind Breakdown who usually takes care of whatever was threatening Knockout. While he may be a bit small and not as bulky compared to some of the other Decepticons, Knockout is no glass canon. He can take a hit and he is fast on his feet, faster than Arcee and Bumblebee even when on the ground. He tends to keep his distance, looking for any and every sign of weakness his enemy may have and using that to his advantage.
  However, if he does get dirty or his pride is damaged, this doctor will turn into the mad kind. Unbeknownst to those he doesn't know very well, Knockout's got quite the sadistic mind. Many may mistake him to be a fire dragon because of his colors, but Knockout is in fact an electric dragon, a fact which most of his victims learn the hard way. His favorite way to take down an enemy is to stab them with the spikes on his tail and send an electrical shock through them, sometimes strong enough to take care of them for good, others only just strong enough to knock them out or stun them so he can make a quick escape. It usually depends on if the fight is personal or not, how desperate he is to get away and what exactly it is that he's fighting.

Canon be damned, Breakdown's alive in this and he and Knockout are happy together.
