A late submission for MerMay for my friend MiaraTheMer . I really wanted to do more for this month than I actually did but the month turned out to be fairly busy and hectic for me, pretty much had to abandon that whole mermaid Tarot Card thing I had planned, but I still want to keep making Kisekae stuff whenever I have the time, and continue on with those MerMay requests even after the month is up, and this is the first one I'll start with.The idea suggested to me by MiaraTheMer was for a mermaiding performance featuring Mi'ara with a friend (in this case I chose an old OC of mine, Maddie, to be her partner) in a sealed aquarium as their performance get's livestreamed as part of a charity for dolphin protection. While it's streaming people can donate money and for every 10$, their air source is cut off for 30 seconds. Mi'ara is a bit more experienced than Maddie at this, and is pretty confident about this whole thing, right up until a big surge of donations comes in and the cut off timer is set for five minutes, and she didn't get a chance to take a big gulp of air like Maddie did...
Have to say, I'm pretty proud of the outfit I made for Maddie lol
