great concept man. i really like this. now don't see me as stupid or anything but would this be a symbiote take on the suit. either way i find it awesome. One thing i think you could have done (creative criticism :]) was cover the mouth and make it a full mask by using the color you used for the spider. i did see you in the honorable mentions on project rooftop btw. i thought this should have been top 3 definitely but please comment back to let me knw what you think of my idea. i will be adding some of my own deviaitions soon so let me knw wht u think wen u get the chance. Hmm. it doesn't have to be symbiote but guess that's up to whoever views it.
At first I did cover the mouth but I wanted it to be a little more different that the usual spidey mask. In fact I think that you're right and if I have covered his mouth I might have ranked higher even.

I like the colors chosen and the eyes on the face mask. I think it makes him look more like a spider, which I thought was never really addressed. How did you this drawing do in the contest?

I like this costume design but I don't like the way you did the mask. In this way he looks more like mutated freak or some variant of Men-Spider. Casual black spiderman mask with yellow eyes would looking better imho, but maybe it's just me. Anywho I still like the colors and idea of mixing web motive of red/blue suit and giant spider from symbiote black suit
