Hey look, I'm showing off yet another OC today! Coming from the same story setting as Dannie, Quirky, and Dr.Strangelove, this is Bonnie Sutherland, Dannie's older sister and yet another person trying to get by in her post-apocalyptic world. While Dannie, Quirky, and Doc all have their eccentricities and weird quirks, Bonnie's quirk among all of the other main characters is that she is actually fucking competent pretty much all of the time, in comparison to the other three who only have their moments. Before the world ended, she was an engineering student in college working part-time as a bar tender while at the same time, having to deal with her younger brother living with her in her apartment with no parental support. Having to put up with so much shit constantly was actually the perfect preparation for her to insure her and her brother could handle the apocalypse when it finally happened. Though, developing an attitude where she takes no shit from anyone certainly didn't hurt.

Being the most competent of the group, she is something of the de facto leader, even though Dannie does have occasional delusions of grandeur that he is actually the main character (that MIGHT actually be true), and will try to make himself the one in charge. Thankfully, for the survival of everyone else, nobody listens to him. Strangelove especially refers to Bonnie and her leadership even though in theory, she is more intelligent, and also older and therefore more experienced as well. That theory doesn't really pan out though given Doc's often spacey demeanor causes her many problems, hence her trusting Bonnie with most things, including allowing Bonnie to use her engineering skills to essentially double check the stuff she invents to make sure they don't horribly explode. Even Quirky, a robot that was most likely designed for combat specifically, more often than not ends up being less helpful in an actual fight than Bonnie, as it takes a lot of time and effort to make Quirky remember he CAN fight things, while Bonnie will try to resolve encounters quickly and decisively. She pretty much always carries a sledgehammer with her at all times because of this mindset, and often relishes smashing stuff with it, if only because its a good outlet for her pent up rage having to deal with everyone else's BS.
