well i have a lot to say about this.

i ve spent a good amount of time today trying to do this project. after spending about 5 hours on it and doing a really nice ink drawing cross hatched in a similar way to the ballerinas picture, i go to put color on top and the ink all smears. the brand of black ink i used to it is higgens black magic. never buy this ink it is evil. there is a claim on the front that says that it is waterproof, but beware its a LIE. i got expremly pissed of and kicked somethings and yelled and called jess and yelled and then kicked a trash can and literally threw this together in about 2 hours. i gotta say when i first made it i hated it, but now i actually like the crappier qualities of it. it has a rawness i associate with crackheads. its sort of a custom job for the subject matter. i kind of want to try this again with another picture. i will tr for the other half of this project, which is a before picture. the before picture has a homelss man recieving change from someone and the after is that homeless man doing crack. its fun to just be spontanious. the cool part is that this actually still sort of goes along with m inital idea, so thats a step in the right direction for practicing consept for illustration jobs. anyway enjoy.
